Notice: Travel Fees
I do charge travel fees based on your location. They range from $20 to $100.

Tuning Services

  • Standard Tuning: This service is for all pianos that are currently at or close to A440 pitch.
  • Price: $160
  • Pitch Adjustment Tuning: This service is for all piano that have not been serviced in many years and as a result, need to have a preliminary pitch raise to return to A440 pitch. This service will include a one pass pitch raise, then fine tuning. If the pitch of the piano is so low that it requires multiple pitch adjustments, each pass is an additional fee.
  • Price: $210

Which Tuning Do I Choose?

Upon arrival of the service call, I will assess the musical pitch of your piano and provide feedback so we can choose the best option for you. Generally, most pianos that are not serviced on a regular basis, will require the Pitch Adjustment Tuning.

Repair or Regulation Services

$85/hour

This service is needed when the customer or the piano technician discovers that the instrument does not perform correctly. Some examples of these services are, a key does not come back up when it is pressed down, or if multiple keys go down when only one key is pressed. Maybe you press a key down, but when you release it, the sound keeps ringing. These are all issues that can be addressed.

Evaluation Service

$50

“FREE PIANO” .. “Just needs tuning”
I offer pre-purchase piano evaluations for a small fee, that will save you from buying a piano that should be condemned. I will check all the parts inside and outside of the piano to be sure you are putting your money to good use. Please involve a Registered Piano Technician in all your piano purchases to avoid getting a lemon.
